Youth-led Prevention Implementation Grant
Request up to $10,000
Youth-led prevention groups, serving middle or high school-aged teens in the state of Ohio, may request up to $10,000 to engage youth in developing, designing, and implementing a youth-led prevention project or programming that addresses your school or community’s needs!
While participating in of our 2024 Youth Leadership Training held December 6-8, is not a requirement of the grant, groups that attended will have received inspiration and education to develop their action plan. Once awarded, grantees will be provided with additional technical assistance to utilize an effective youth-led approach to create positive community change.

Can grant funds be used for the 2025 Youth to Youth International Conference?
Yes, funds may be budgeted for cost of attending the conference - including the additional staff time and the registration fee.
It is a condition of the grant that grantees attend the 2025 Youth to Youth International Conference held July 9-12 at Ohio Wesleyan University. Grantee groups must include at least one adult advisor and at least 3 students.
Thanks to funding from OhioMHAS, we will be providing a discounted rate for Ohio participants of $50 a person. The number of participants per group that receive this rate may be limited, but grantees will be provided this rate for at least their 3 required students and 1 required adult. Grantees will also be provided with travel stipends to attend.
