Join us December 6-8 at Kalahari Resorts for our 2024 Youth Leadership Training!

We are excited to invite youth leaders and their adult advisors to our 2024 Youth Leadership Training where your team will learn how to develop lasting and impactful youth prevention content for your school or community. This training is designed to help participants create meaningful initiatives that address key issues such as mental health, substance use prevention, vaping, suicide prevention, bullying and more!

Whether you attended our summer conference, last year’s training, or are new to our program, this weekend will be an excellent opportunity for youth and their adult advisors to expand their leadership skills and create real change.

Thanks to a partnership with OhioMHAS, this opportunity will be provided to participants at no charge!

What to expect…

  • Hands-on trainings to equip youth with the skills to design effective prevention campaigns.

  • Subject matter experts to help inspire and guide groups to identifying the area they want to address.

  • Tools and strategies for developing content that resonates with your school or community’s specific needs.

  • Collaborative sessions where youth leaders and advisors will work together to create actionable plans.

  • Engaging activities that inspire confidence and foster leadership.

  • And of course…. FUN! Attendance will include waterpark passes for all 3 days!

Here’s how to register!

Each group planning to attend may have up to 3 rooms:

1 Adult Room for 1-2 adults

1-2 Youth Rooms for up to 8 high school students (2-4 students per room).

Each room has 2 queen beds. Opposite gendered students may not share a room.

Once you have identified the adult advisor(s) and high school leaders from your group that you would like to attend, complete the Group Application. The application will require names and dietary restrictions of attendees.

After we have reviewed the applications, you will be contacted by a member of our team to confirm your spot.

Youth to Youth will provide the training and activities for the weekend, however we ask that the  adults attending take responsibility for their students. Unlike the summer conference, there will not be a nurse onsite. Please plan accordingly.

This opportunity is limited to Ohio based youth groups. Applications to attend may be submitted between now and November 15th.

This training, including waterpark passes for all 3 days, will be provided at no cost thanks to Youth to Youth’s partnership with OhioMHAS.

Programming will begin at 5:30 pm December 6th. Registration will begin as early as 3:00 pm.

Lunch will be served from 12:00-1:00 pm on December 8th but groups are able to utilize the waterpark until 3:00pm.

Each day will have a mix of programming with your youth-led groups and fun in the water park! Detailed agenda will be posted soon!

Pro Tip! Overnight resort guests are invited to start enjoying the waterparks as early as noon day of check-in. Stay until 3PM day of check-out.
